Cohorts
A cohort is a structured learning group or class that has a specific start date and ends with a final exam. The cohort runs about 15 weeks, like a one semester course at college or university. This structured way of learning is available for most CUIC® courses. The number of participants in each cohort is limited and is on a first-come basis; therefore, we encourage you to enroll as soon as the upcoming session is available in the Catalogue.

One of the key benefits of a cohort is that a subject expert paces the group through the CUIC course material using an online Discussion Forum. The Discussion Forum is the learning hub - hence the term "online" cohort. In that Discussion Forum, both the facilitator and cohort participants can post questions and answers, share experiences, and compare practices. Cohort participants do not meet on a given date and time as a typical "class", but post to the Discussion Forum, something they can do 24/7.
