Using an online learning management system,
The CUSOURCE™ Credit Union Knowledge Network delivers knowledge
sharing and a variety of learning vehicles, both online and
in the classroom. Built by the system, CUSOURCE is a vital link
in the Canadian credit union infrastructure, uniquely designed
to meet the needs of all credit unions.
Seeking out and delivering quality
Seeking out, evaluating and accessing the full range of learning
options available to credit union professionals is a challenging
task. The CUSOURCE Learning feature addresses the knowledge
challenge, providing users with an extensive course catalogue,
including both online and classroom based learning.
- In some cases courses are delivered directly by CUSOURCE,
either in a traditional classroom setting or online. In
other instances, CUSOURCE will point the way to registration
elsewhere.
- The CUIC courses and designations remain, but now within
the CUSOURCE banner. As such, all information about registrations
and progress towards designations will be accessed through
CUSOURCE.
Charting progress with learning maps
Individual learning maps are a powerful feature on the system
designed to help employees and their managers chart individual
career paths. General skills and formal learning necessary in
credit union job functions are itemized.
Learning maps then match skills to learning opportunities. As
a result, training is goal driven and strategic. |
